Yurdum was founded in 2001 to serve a community that had limited choices for halal products in a scarce European market. We want our customers to be able to enjoy a variety of food that is not only halal but also delicious and easy to prepare.

Yurdum is the Turkish word for "Homeland". The founders of Yurdum originated from this magnificent part of the world. A country that is not only rich in its history but also in culture. This is manifested in Turkish Cuisine itself.
From Mantı, a type of delicate meat-filled dumpling that originates from Kayseri to Adana Kebab, which its origins can be read from the name itself are being featured by Yurdum with pride. Other foods like the Köfte (Turkish Meatballs) come in many shapes and sizes to be enjoyed authentically or with a twist of each family's recipes.
